RETAILERS RING UP NEW SALES ON SMARTPHONES
Mobile e-business is growing at a significantly more rapid pace than both online shopping overall and retail sales in general, writes WSJ. Mobile online sales are expected to amount to USD2.2 billion, which is USD1 billion more than last year, and five times more than in 2008.
 
GAWKER SAYS FBI SEEKS DOCUMENTS
The New York-based media company, Gawker, said on Friday that it had been approached by the FBI to preserve documents to support an investigation into the bug that caused a leak of personal information related to iPad owners, reports WSJ. FBI announced on Thursday that it had opened a probe, but it did not disclose the nature of the investigation.
