NTT POSTS PROFIT
Japan’s NTT reported quarterly increase of 12 percent from the corresponding period a year ago. WSJ writes that 75 percent of NTT’s operating profit came from its mobile operator subsidiary NTT Docomo, which reported a 22-percent increase in net profit and a 25-percent surge in operating profit for the quarter ended September 30, as a result of cost cutting and increased smartphones sales.
