SMS MOST POPULAR AMONG TEENAGE GIRLS IN US STUDY
According to the Nielson report mentioned last week, monthly SMS traffic was the highest for teenage girls, an average of 4,050 per month. Boys sent and received 2,539 texts per month. On the whole, SMS traffic increased for teenagers by eight percent, compared with the corresponding period last year. TT writes that handset makers such as Sony Ericsson are expected to respond with QWERTY keyboards now that more young people are choosing mobiles primarily for texting.
