DEUTSHCE TELEKOM TO NEGOTIATE NEW CEO CONTRACT
FT writes that Deutsche Telekom has implied that it will sign a new five-year contract with its current CEO, René Obermann. The news comes as Obermann just found out last Monday that he is being implicated in an investigation by state prosecutors regarding an alleged bribery scandal involving dividend payments at MakTel, the Macedonian telecom operator that DT ran in 2005

DUNSTONE SELLS MAJOR CARPHONE STAKE
Carphone Warehouse chairman Charles Dunstone has sold GBP35 million worth of shares in the company, reports FT. The sale represents the largest reduction in Dunstone’s holdings in Carphone Warehouse.
