FORMER FUND MANAGER GETS INTO ONLINE TV
DI reports that Mats Lagerqvist, a former fund manager with Swedbank, and Patrik Gustafsson an online-TV developer, have joined forces to launch PlayOnTV, a new online TV channel that will operate as a network for production companies and other businesses whose content has no home with the major networks. “It’s very exciting to be part of a company like PlayOnTV, in a growth area that really feels forward-thinking,” said Lagerqvist, who has also purchased a five-percent stake in the startup.
