NOKIA CONDUCTING SEARCH FOR NEW CEO
WSJ writes that Nokia has launched a search for a new CEO, according to people familiar with the situation. Nokia, however, has declined to comment on the speculations.

TELEFÓNICA SET TO PRESS ON OVER VIVOAfter dropping its EUR7.15 billion offer to buy Portugal Telecom out of Vivo, Telefónica indicated on Sunday that it would continue to seek control of Vivo in Brazil. A spokesman said the company would “go its own way” on Vivo, after it refused a last-minute request from the Portuguese group for more time to reach a deal. The Spanish group may now try to dissolve the joint-owned holding company for Vivo Brasilcel through international arbitration, which would make it easier to take control of Vivo in the open market, writes WSJ.
