FOXCONN WAGES COULD BE INCREASED
Foxconn plans to increase the wages for its employees in China by 20 percent, following the series of suicides involving the company. Mats Pellbäck Scharp of Sony Ericsson has stated the company does not produce any phones at the plant in question—they are manufactured in a smaller Foxconn plant outside Peking—although it is possible some components may be manufactured there, writes SvD.
