AT&T CONFIRMS BREACH OF IPAD BUYER DATA
Late Wednesday AT&T confirmed that it had identified an embarrassing security breach that could be used to obtain information about people who have purchased the iPad, reports FT. AT&T said it had found out about the glitch on Monday and that the problem had been corrected on Tuesday, after being brought to the attention of top-level executives.


O2 SCRAPS UNLIMITED DATA FOR SMARTPHONES
FT reports that O2 has announced it will change its pricing structure, and start implementing a pay-as-you-go plan, to grapple with the explosion in data-traffic usage. The change will start on June 24, in conjunction with the UK operator’s release of the iPhone 4.
