TV COULD OFFER POTENTIAL BOOST FOR SONY ERICSSON
Google has initiated a collaboration with Sony, Intel and Logitech in order to develop a new platform, based on Android, that will make Internet available via televisions. This could also mean new opportunities for Sony Ericsson; it is speculated that Android phones could be connected to television sets in the future. The first TV sets with the new system could be sold in the US in the fall, with Europe following suit in 2011.
