SWEDEN ARRANGES NORWEGIAN SUCCESS
DI reports that in one day, the iPhone-adapted version of the Web-browsing application, Opera Mini, was downloaded more than a million times. This is a humungous success for the Norwegian company, Opera. The app is now the most commonly used browser on the market, according to statistics from Statcounter. The application, which is also available for Android and Windows devices, has an enormous potential, especially in emerging markets, according to Johan Schön, Project Manager in Linköping, Sweden, where Opera Mini is developed.
