NO ROOM FOR MISTAKES FOR NOKIA

Nokia’s joint development of the Symbian platform cost the company valuable time, which gave Apple and Google an advantage, writes SvD. The company has now been forced to rethink its strategy regarding Symbian. SvD writes that the new MeeGo platform, developed together with Intel, is the company’s hope for competing with Android and Apple. Nokia can’t afford to make any mistakes this time, as it introduces new advanced smartphones with the MeeGo platform in the beginning of next year.
