RIM FINDS PLAYBOOK BUDDY BUT STILL HAS A LOT TO PROVE
Best Buy has agreed to sell RIM’s new tablet computer, the BlackBerry PlayBook, reports WSJ. The deal will make a major difference in alleviating the problems of finding marketing channels for the new device, as operators have shown limited interest. The PlayBook will compete with the iPad and Dell’s Streak on the mega-retailer’s shelves. FT writes that RIM still has a lot to prove to investors, despite its recent record earnings.
