CVC SET TO ANNOUNCE BUY-OUT OF SUNRISE
Following a ruling by the Swiss government to prevent a proposed merger of the Danish TDC’s mobile-phone business, Sunrise, and France Telecom, the private-equity group CVC Capital Partners is expected to announce a USD3.2 billion purchase of Sunrise. The deal would be one of the largest deals in the telecom business in many years, writes FT.
