PACT SET TO TRIGGER USD340 MILLION FOR INMARSAT
Inmarsat is set to collect USD340 million over the next 18 months, in accordance with an agreement it signed with Sky Terra Communications. The funds will be used to transition its nationwide network in the US from the L-band spectrum into a 4G ATC (Ancillary Terrestrial Component) service network, writes FT. Inmarsat has already been paid an initial sum of USD81.3 million.
