TELIASONERA SELLS STOFAThe risk capital company Ratos is purchasing Telia’s Danish subsidiary Stofa for DKK1.1 billion. The subsidiary, which offers triple-play services, has 500 employees and last year reported a business volume of DKK1.024 billion. In recent years it has made major network investments, which was a selling point for Ratos, writes DI. “Stofa’s business operation is not in line with our strategy in Denmark and we are therefore very pleased to be able to hand over Stofa to an owner that can further develop the company,” Per-Arne Blomquist, CFO at TeliaSonera, stated in a press release.

TELE 2 AND 3 OFFER BEST MOBILE BROADBAND COVERAGE
According to a test conducted by the magazine Mobil, Tele2 and the operator 3 offer the best mobile broadband coverage in Sweden. The difference among the operators was minor, but Tele2 and 3 ended up winning the test based on their overall performance. Tele2 showed strong results throughout Sweden, while 3 was the clear winner in Stockholm and Gothenburg. Telenor came out on top in Malmö. The survey also included a test on trains throughout Sweden, in which 3 won.
