RUSH FOR THE NEW IPHONE
Despite the much-talked-about antenna problems, the Swedish release of the iPhone 4 is being anticipated by a huge number of consumers, writes DI. Phone stores in Stockholm have extended hours and expect long lines. “Fanatics get a kick out of sitting and waiting before a release. There will always be hedonists that want the latest to be able to show it off – that’s why there is such a rush,” Peter Örbrink, CEO for the electronics chain Euronics says, adding that the iPhone is no longer unique as phones from other manufactures such as Sony Ericsson and Samsung have also sold out.
