TELSTRA IN AUD11-BILLION BROADBAND DEAL
FT reports that Telstra has finally reached an agreement with the Australian government, in which it will contribute its equipment to the construction of a high-speed nationwide broadband network. 

SWEDIS ROYAL BOOST THEIR BUSINESS TALENT

FT’s reporter Andrew Ward, based in Stockholm, wrote about the Swedish companies that participated in the activities that were held in connection to the royal wedding in Stockholm. 
Swedish business will be out in force at Saturday’s ceremony, from the presence of industrialists such as the Wallenberg family to the high-profile support of companies – including Ikea and Ericsson - for the two-week "Stockholm Love Festival staged to mark the event.  Crown princess Victoria has also shown her willingness to act as cheerleader, attending three stops on themost recent Volvo Ocean Race, sponsored by Swedish manufacturers Volvo and ericsson.
