TELE2 APPOINTS NEW CEO —FROM ERICSSON 
All the major papers report that, after four months of searching, Tele2 has found its new CEO in a seasoned Ericsson executive—Mats Granryd. DI describes Granryd as a team player who has held several senior positions at Ericsson in Sweden, Egypt, India and the UK. Tele2 Chairman of the Board, Mike Parton, says Mats Granryd is exactly the type of CEO Tele2 wants.
 
APPLE ROLLS OUT NEW IPHONE
All the major papers report that Apple introduced its new smartphone, the iPhone4, yesterday. Apple CEO Steve Jobs was greeted with a standing ovation at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference, but then he ran into problems with his demonstration, due to Internet connection problems. The iPhone4 is thinner than its predecessors, and it comes with a new operating system, iOS4, which allows for multi-tasking. The iPhone 4 will go on sale on June 24.
