IPHONE IS BIG IN JAPAN
According to Tokyo-based MM Research Institute, the iPhone sold 1.7 million units in Japan, or 72 percent of all smartphones sold, in the fiscal year ended March 31. While the overall handset market in Japan is essentially flat, Apple said iPhone sales in Japan nearly tripled in the most recent quarter.
